  • Pre-calculated IM and Light cache for animation but final render still doing pre-pass

Recently switched to 3ds Max 2014 and VRay 2.40.04 and trying to render an exterior flythrough. I've pre-calculated the IM and Light cache (used Multiframe incremental and fly-through modes) but when i go to render the final images using the saved maps (using 'From file') it still does some pre-passes before rendering the image. It's the same whether through backburner or rendering locally.

'V-Ray messages' says both maps loaded successfully...Is this a changed thing within 2.40.04 or am i missing something?

    Thanks
    Alphalpha

You can look at the V-Ray log file to see which materials have registered interpolation maps. VRayFastSSS2 materials also require a prepass.
