  • Alpha Edge errors with VRayPhysicalCam Depth Of Field

I've been noticing this problem with object edges coming up in multiple projects - across both V-Ray for 3ds max and maya.
It occurs in animations when using V-Ray's Physical Camera with depth of field enabled.

These little bucket edges where the depth of field wasn't calculated correctly.
It seems to happen randomly in frames here and there... with distributed rendering and without.

So I'm wondering if anyone has encountered this or has any info on why this is happening?

    Hi Akin,

You need to increase the Min AA subdivisions. Maybe "2" or "3" will give you better render results with DOF.
