  • render vrscene files

    Hi,

could someone explain how to render a vrscene file from commandline (3ds max/vray standalone).

Here is what i tried with a batch script:
    "C:\Program Files\Chaos Group\V-Ray\RT for 3ds Max 2014 for x64\bin\vray.exe" -sceneFile="C:\models\pen.vrscene" -frames=1-1,1 -rtEngine=3 -display=1 -autoClose=1

The vray server opens and loads the plugins but nothing happens and stands still. There is no active rendering.

    Regards

Which V-Ray version is that? We only ship the full standalone in the latest beta of V-Ray 3.0

    Best regards,

It's vray 3.05.01 beta. I didn't know that, I thought that vray includes the standalone version. Or is this only with this mentioned beta version?

You need the latest beta version (3.05.03) from our website.
