Empty Directories Created in proxies Folder

Hi,

I am wondering why does VRay create empty directories in the 3ds max project directory's proxies folder? I see a file called dir.csv and a directory named 1x2. I'm not using VRay proxies, so I don't see why this happens. Anyone know?

These folders aren't generated by VRay, they are generated by 3ds Max when you enable "bitmap proxies".

Hmm... I have that disabled I think. Paging is enabled, but it's supposed to use the temp directory within my user profile folder.

I'm pretty sure these are from bitmap proxies, but it's true that by default they should go to a temp folder ... don't know, sometimes Max creates folders here and there to make things more fun.

V-Ray does nothing of the sort I'm afraid. Like Codi noted, this might be related to the 3ds Max Bitmap proxies.
