  • DR buckets coming and going

Not sure if this is a problem or a display issue. We have noticed on a few scenes that the DR buckets disappear during the render and then, after a few seconds, all flood back in again. Not long enough for the host machine to do more work but just strange behaviour.

This is in max 2013 using vray 2.4.04

    Anyone else noticed this?

    Cheers,
    Olly

Yes, I see this a lot. I assumed it's just a display thing as we have a lot of buckets and renders don't *seem* to be noticeably slower because of it.

      Hi,

I'm not sure whether is a V-ray issue, but we could check, if you send us a scene that reproduces it.

        Thanks Tashko.

I will look out for a suitable scene - unfortunately the current scene is not suitable to be sent out.

I saw this recently as well. I only noticed it because I had an object isolated with an hdri dome light - I thought the popping had to do with the image rendering so quickly that all the buckets were just popping from place to place.
