  • 3.0 frame buffer slow to respond

Is anyone else having issues with the frame buffer in 3.0? When a render has finished it seems to take ages to respond and I cannot close the VFB. Same with applying lens effects, they take ages. I am in 3ds Max 2012.

I don't think this is any different from what it was before in V-Ray 2.4; we've had this issue for a while now, and it happens with Nitrous only, usually for heavier scenes. Newer versions of 3ds Max are a bit better, but we need to find a more general solution.

    Best regards,
    Vlado

Thanks, I didn't know about disabling nitrous I will give it a go. I can confirm this is with quite a heavy scene so I imagine this is the cause.
