Vray 3.01 install problem

3dsmax.exe - Entry Point not found

Any advice?

Added: deleted all prior vray dll and dlr files (they all said version 2013 rather than 2014...dont know why). Reinstalled and now am getting a 3dsmax .exe error
"the program cant start becase frender2013.dlr is missing from you computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix tis problem."

Also, when max does start, it cannot find a license. Dongle is in and service is started.

i managed to do a complete uninstall and delete all the left over folders. This got rid of the error messages and max opened with vray 3.0 running. Now I just cannot get a license. It looks like the wibukey files are all gone and not running.

Help!!

I reinstalled the wibukey drivers from their website and now it is running. When I access the the dongle there is no license listed for vray 3.0. I generated a new context.wbc file and sent it to chaos group. What do I have to do next?

I found that an installation of vray 2.40.03 for 3dsmax 2013 was still present which is funny because I never installed 3dsmax 2013 on this machine.
Deinstalling this version via system settings -> software does not work, it just gives me the window below and does nothing if I click OK.

After manually removing the 2013 plugins from the 3dsmax plugins folder and vrayplugins folder the license server was gone. I startet the VRLService manually and now everything works fine.

Vray 2.40.03 for 3dsmax 2013 is still present in the start menu, but everything in it points to the vray 3.0 installation. Strange...

This may happen if you previously attempted to install the same V-Ray build for 3ds Max 2013 and 2014 before we released a separate installation of V-Ray 2.4 for 3ds Max 2014. Because the 2013 and 2014 plugins were compatible, this actually worked, but a side effect was that one of the installations was left hanging without an uninstaller. The 3.0 installer fixes this, I think, if ever such a case happens again, but there was nothing to do about the 2.x one except to delete the old conflicting files manually.
