  • DR rendering problem?

    Hi, attached herewith a jpeg image which show the weird bucket color when calculation irradiance map with DR, but the final render is fine,
    is this a bug or error?

    It is the render nodes returning buckets with different gamma.

          Vlado ones mentioned its just the preview doing it and if you're beauty is fine, you can just ignore it

          (would still be nice if they can "fix" it however)

            To expand on the other comments, this is as far as I have understood, the DR slaves buckets visible representation being compressed to save network bandwidth.
            The issue here being that they look like faulty buckets making us paranoid and stressed.
            Hopefully Chaos/Vlado will ease up on the compression so they don't look quite as bad in some future version, unless it has already been fixed in v.3.x.
