Is there any way to control the noise in the specular component of a vraycarmaterial. Adjusting the subdivs in the material doesn't affect the noise in my specular, and I'd rather not have to push my dmc settings much harder to get rid of the noise.
I assume the light subdivs aren't a consideration?
I inherited this scene, so I'm in a world of w(hy)tf-is-it-setup-like-this
It seems odd that the car-paint base 'specular' has a trace option, without any control over the traced reflection subdivs.
Or, what is more likely, am I misunderstanding the shader altogether!
Any advice appreciated.
