  • vray 2.4 environment fog and zdepth

I'm currently rendering a scene that uses vray env fog. I'm also rendering a zdepth pass for post production. The problem is that the env fog that is fogging just the horizon is showing up in the zdepth buffer as white so ruins the depth. Any ideas what I can do to resolve this or is this a bug ?

Fog also affects extra tex layer...when I use vray dirt for AO.

Can you not render both as separate passes? it'll be faster all round.
the extra tex AO should always be rendered from a separate scene/pass anyway - it slows down renders by a massive amount and can end up inconsistent.

Yep, I'll have to do that by the looks of it.
