  • Monitor, Max, Windows, or VRay 3 Menu Glitch

I'm thinking this is more of a Max issue but I could be wrong.
I recently picked up a larger monitor on my right-side for panels. It has a much higher resolution and screen size than my main.
The menus/toolbars on the right now look huge.
Also, when I go to select a menu drop-down item from the VRay render flyouts, the menus move to different locations.

I tried messing with customized layouts - haven't had any luck.Click image for larger version

The image attached is only 1/8th the size of the new monitor resolution. The screen capture app is also acting up.
I'll try reinstalling the drivers again.

I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered this before and if they know of any solutions.
I don't want my large monitor to become a main simply because I don't trust it yet and also that it has a low refresh rate at large sizes.

I think you are right - this is not related to Vray directly. It is either 3DSMax or drivers issue.
Have you got the same behavior with another applications?
What happens if you are using the same resolution for both monitors? or switching the Main Display to the new monitor?
Have you tested another GPU/Monitor drivers?

Thanks Svetlozar. Here's more info in case this helps anyone. At this point, I'm really recommending Driver Sweeper for whenever someone decides to update their drivers.
      1) Two different nVdia GPUs.
      2) Three monitors.
      3) Windows 8.1

      And solution:
      1) Had to completely uninstall card drivers. nVidia uninstall/reinstall with clean settings does not remove everything. It's a real problem that I'm surprised that they haven't addressed.
      2) Even running CCleaner (registry) still didn't fix things.
      3) Booted into safe mode and ran Driver Sweeper from: http://www.guru3d.com/content_page/g...r_sweeper.html
This found a LOT of files that were just sitting there including unused profiles, etc.
      4) Reinstalled the latest drivers cleanly in regular Windows mode.

Seems to have reset the size of my mouse cursor as expected as well as the flyouts.
