  • particle rendering issue

I'm creating some simple smoke using particle flow. I've had this issue before but I never managed to resolve it. I have a number of particles being create with opacity.

I'm assuming it is where multiple faces are on each other (but I'm not totally sure). I've tried adjusting the secondary ray bias to 0.001. I've turned off both cast and receive shadows in particle properties. I've tried turning off GI to see if that affects it but nothing seems to work.

Edit: I've also turned off double sided but this does not help.

Increase the max. transparency levels - maybe to 1000 or something.

Is the clouds (not the smoke you had a problem with) an HDRI or is it some kind of particle system also?
        Kind Regards,

No, it was the transparency layers that Vlado mentioned. Upping them to 1000 sorted the problem straight away. I used a HDRI in the scene.
