  • Somethings wrong here

    Hello,

I have a scene that gets some crazy artifacting, it's random usual few shot out of a batch render with no consistency.

    any ideas what's causing this?

    V-Ray 3.0.05
    3DS Max Design 2014

Do you have any standard materials? Are there any warnings in the V-Ray log?

    Best regards,
    Vlado

Yes I do have some standard materials from purchased props...Will the Vray scene converter ignore Vray materials?

Yes. But save a copy of the scene, just in case.

Thanks Vlado!...I ran a batch last night with no errors, I think V-Ray 3 is a lot more sensitive to standard materials than 2.0 was. The scene converter was a time saver

Yes I had some amazing looking errors showing up today when I had some revit files xref'd into my scene. Purple infectious splotches all over the walls.
