  • White pixels - Universal settings

    Hi all,

I'm writing in regards to a problem with universal settings.
We're starting to use those settings to improve the quality (subpixel mapping unchecked) but in some occasions it seems whether impossible or too slow to clean the image and some white pixels keep appearing.

Please find attached screenshots of parameters, the rgb image and the rawreflections channel.
I'm using an HDRI to light up the scene and the white pixel appear in just some occasions, some view of the scene render fine.

Is there a way to clean it? Do you guys have some suggestions to speed up the rendering not having to worry about the white pixels?
Thanks very much for your attention and your help,

Quickest thing you can do is go into your global switches rollout and look at the max ray intensity setting. Turn this on and gradually bring down the value to remove the white pixels.

Vlado isn't totally happy with it since it's kind of a cheat, but it does indeed work very nicely
