  • vray 3 DR Buckets Different Gamma - Colour mapping affect gamma only

using vray 3.00.03 noticed that if I distribute render and have in the colour mapping options to color mapping only (no gamma), the nodes make an image with an array of different gamma settings.

Is there a fix for this, I know I should update to recent builds and test this as well but haven't got around to doing it on the farm yet.

    Thanks

The best option would be to update to the latest version an run the same test again.

We've already encountered a few cases where the issue was caused by VrayDomeLight or Embree so if you are using these features in your scene you could try to disable them and run another test with 3.00.03 before updating.

Make sure also that all assets used in the scene are accessible for each of the machine participating in the rendering. It is a good idea to turn on Transfer Missing Maps option from DR settings and Check For Missing Maps option from System Tab.

Another thing that you should check is the Vray version - make sure that all nodes are using the same Vray version.

Please keep us informed whether the issue is resolved or not after you've tried the tips above.

Will do an update to latest build, the only other issue we have is with the colorcorrect plugin by cuneytozdas is that some nodes are rendering without the settings in the colorcorrect applied, is anyone else having this issue?

Make sure that you have installed the Collorcorrection plugin on all render nodes, otherwise they will render different buckets.
