  • Problem with include/exclude Render Mask

I have included some items in the render mask list to re-render so I can apply motion blur to them. It seems the render mask has issues with items that are sliced (and possibly animated) and also lathed shapes that are animated. The mesh is still showing behind these items that should block them out.
    Regards

Would it be possible to send us sample scene about that issue?

I already sent the same scene to some other guys in support for another issue regarding velocity render element crash. I can re-send if you need me to.

We are not able to find your previous email so would you please resend the scene again or let us know the email address from which the scene has been sent.
Thank you very much in advance.

One of our testers just informed me he got the scene - so there is no need to resend.

            Hello

We found the scene and I'm looking at the render mask issue.

I tried selecting new_top_housing001 and rendered a few frames starting at frame 385 and I get the following issue:

Name:	ttt.png
Views:	1
Size:	35.0 KB
ID:	852028

This is because when rendering only selection - no pixels in the image are touched if they don't belong to the selected object. So if the object is animated (moving or sliced as in this case) - you get overlapping. To fix this you could set the option to clear the previous render before rendering new frames (Settings - System(Advanced) - Previous render).

If this is not your issue - which object should I select to see the problem ?

            Best Regards,
            Yavor
