vraylightmtl in vray 3.00.06 / 3dsmax 2014, text map doesn't appear in viewport.

Its a Nitrous issue, switch back to Direct X and you will see it again. Or use it with a blend material and add a V-Ray material with the texture as a diffuse and the blend set to pure black.
