  • Hi res render is stuck on "preparing direct light manager"

    I'm rendering a scene to 16707x11817 pixels...or rather, trying to, and it keeps getting stuck at this stage.

    It renders fine at smaller res.

      Have you tried a region or crop?

          I ended up installing more ram. Solved ! For anyone unable to do this I would refer to this post: http://forums.chaosgroup.com/showthr...+light+manager

              That's a pretty big render, do you mind me asking what it's going to be used for??

              It wouldn't be a printers insisting on using 300dpi on something only viewed from 50 meters away per chance? :S
