  • Weird issue with #preRender script

I am trying to animate some boxes with maxscript. I've setup callbacks to watch for a dummy's transformation change, a TimeCallback, and i've tried to setup a #preRenderFrame callback.

So far so good as far as max goes. I can move the dummy and the boxes will change. I can also animate the dummy and play the animation, the boxes will update. It took a minute to figure out how to have it update at render time but eventually that worked too.

Now i'm having issues with vray.

The sequence renders fine for a while, and then starts spitting out really odd frames:

If i just render that frame out of the sequence, it renders normal.

The second issue, i tried rendering with vray RT as a previewer, it crashes after about 10 frames every time.

Would it be possible to send us the scene along with the script for investigation?
