Hi,

please, can you add just "objects" and "elements" to this map? Both will be much more usefull then Object ID and FaceID. Will this be possible?

Hmm, what do you mean by objects? As in randomly assign a different map per object? Elements as in individual sub object elements of a mesh or poly? If so that'd have to be random also since there's no way to assign an element ID, hence assigning a face ID to every poly of an element would be the only controllable way of doing it.

What would the "objects" one do and how would it be different from the other ones?

The "elements" one is bit tricky, we had it as a test option, but extracting the elements at render time is very slow.

Objects just random assign the color to every objects.
Element is clear I think, elements in objects.

Both will be really usefull. I really dont know, where I can use Object ID and FaceID.

I'm still hoping to see "User Defined Properties" added in the next release.
