Lens Effects material/object ID masks bug has been fixed for the next official service pack.

Still no bug fix in sight for this issue?

I'm stuck with 3ds max 2014 and Vray 2.5 due to this. And it sucks!

This was fixed a few months back (check the post above yours) in the nightly builds and will be available within the next official release as well.
