  • "Volume light" broken in Vray 3.0?

    Hi there,

I just had a scene where I needed to make some "god rays". Usually I just put a black override material in the override slot, make a max standard light, set shadows to "shadow map" and add a Volume Light in the "Atmospheres&Effects" tab of the light and I´m done.
But now all i get is an "Unhandled Exception" when I hit render...

Did you change something here or is my scene broken somehow?

Edit: Yep. Seems something in my scene won´t play along. Just opened an old scene and it works fine there...so off to troubleshooting my stupid scene...yay...

    Hi,

If you post the file I could check it as well. Maybe we can fix this crash if it is V-ray related.

Thanks, but I already pinned it down to the particle flow in the scene...now I just gotta figure out whats wrong with it...

Let us know if you find a solution about it.
If you can't please pack the scene and send it for investigation.
