vraydirt slowing scene playback down...

weird problem in current scene

if I havevraydirt materials in material editor or on any scene objects

scrubbing timeline/playback is sluggish

but if I delete vraydirt materials, playback = fast.

(maps are not showing in viewport either, material editor is closed. Just having them in objects in the scene at all seems to be slowing it to a crawl)

any way to fix?

seems to be because of the vraydirt include/exclude list. Any idea why this might be the case?

Ive found in max2014 that playback is always sluggish with the material editor open, if I close the ME then try playback then it runs much smoother...
