  • ExposureControl too bright

when i use the exposure control the rendered image appears about 2 stops brighter than using the vraycam. i'm using v3.00.07 i never had this problem before. also when opening old vray v2 scenes it's not working. what did i miss?

Do you use same exposure settings on both places?
Could you post any simple scene that reproduces the issue here? You can replace all of your scene geometry with one primitive and I will check it out.

The scene behaves the same way in both 2.x and 3.x version.
The difference comes because Physical Camera has Vignetting feature enabled - this option is not available in Exposure Control tool and that's why the result is brighter.

thank you very much for the answer (once again

maybe it's something to add to the exposure control.

Exposure Control tool is designed mainly to control the exposure of the camera - if you want to control other effects like Vignetting, DOF, Motion Blur and etc it is better to use VrayPhysicalCamera directly.
