  • Motion blur error in reflections

I'm having a strange issue with a moving object with motion blur showing in a reflection when it shouldn't be seen. If I turn motion blur off the moving object doesn't show up...which is the way it should be.

The reflections are controlled by a falloff map. 3dsmax 2015 SP2, Vray 3.00.07

This is strange; do you think you can send us a simplified version of the scene to support@chaosgroup.com so that we can check it out?

    Best regards,

Thank you for sending us the scene file.

To get correct render result with V-Ray 3.x official builds, you may need to increase the Geometry samples value:

There are some changes to our internal builds where this issue should not persist even with the default V-Ray motion blur settings.

Thanks. Looks like just changing it from 2 to 3 fixes the issue.
