  • Vray 2.40.03 - VraySphereFade

When using VraySphereFade, I discovered that if there is an object in front of the Gizmo with "invisible to camera" checked it renders as black and occluding the objects behind it.

And also: it would be nice to have an "invert" checkbox for the gizmos in the vrayspherefade dialogbox.

    Hi Tom,

When using VraySphereFade, I discovered that if there is an object in front of the Gizmo with "invisible to camera" checked it renders as black and occluding the objects behind it.
Actually we have this issue logged and our developers will fix it.

it would be nice to have an "invert" checkbox for the gizmos in the vrayspherefade dialogbox.
We will see if we can add such an option. Thanks.

You can workaround it by setting the invisible object alpha to zero > V-Ray object properties Alpha contribution

Cool, thanks. I was thinking of asking if there was a workaround.
