  • Vraycolor2014.dlt just got flag as a virus

Opened max this morning and vraycolor2014.dlt got flaged as a virus by avast antivirus.
Added it to the exclusions list, but anyone have an idea why.
Even did it when reinstalling vray.
    Using 3.00.07

Similar things have happened occasionally over the years; can you email us to support@chaosgroup.com with the exact version and update of Avast that you are using so that our support team can contact those guys and sort it out?

    Best regards,
    Vlado

Me too, was easy enough to fix. Right click on the Avast icon, then "Open Avast! user Interface". Click "Scan", then at the bottom "Quarantine (Virus Chest). Right click on vraycolor and select "Restore and Add to Exclusions".

Avast thinks Zbrush is a virus too, same process.

This issue is fixed from Avast.
Here you can read there reply:

"We released patch and it should be fixed. Please open avast -> settings -> update -> and Update the program together with virus definitions."

Please do not hesitate to contact us at support@chaosgroup.com if this does no fix the issue.
