  • Embree eating parts of geometry

Something 'interesting' was happening, and we nailed it down to Embree. Turning it of solves the problem.

I think this is interesting as parts of the geometry is damaged, and not a full object.Click image for larger version

My understanding of Embree is : If Embree can deal with it, fine, if not, well, Embree will ignore it.
In this situation, it kind of destroys the geometry. Also, this is part of a bigger image. Tons of lamps in there, but only one having trouble..

I'm a little after an explanation of what's happening, curious to understand Embree better

    Thanks

We actually had a couple of bugs in the Embree implementation that we fixed recently. If you can get us a scene to support@chaosgroup.com we will be able to figure what's going on.

    Best regards,
