  • Realflow bin and motionblur

I've searched the forum for this issue and have not come across anything quite like what I have going on here.

I have a realflow hybrido sequence and I've meshed it out to a bin sequence.

using the realflow mesh loader i can get motion blur on the geometry by doing the following:

    1. setting the max object properties object motion blur check box on
    2. use a vray camera set to movie cam with motion blur on
    3. set motion blur on in camera setting in vray render dialog

now if i convert that bin to a vrmesh file using ply2vrmesh i get no motion blur but if i include a vray velocity render element, the vrmesh writes vector information where the rf bin loaded mesh does not.

I also tried importing an alembic file as well and had not motion blur on that either.

I'm using the latest version of vray in 3ds max 2014 sp1

Has anyone had something similar happen?

    thanks,

    V Miller

Would it be possible to send us a few realflow bin files for investigation?
Thank you very much in advance.

i will be following this thread for sure. Ive found it a pain using motion blur on realflow meshes that are huge. Never thought to use ply2vrmesh on a realflow bin sequence
