Glare Effect from image seems buggy

I'm using the Vray Lens effects to get starbursts on my render. Things were looking quite good. I set the 3k render going last night and have come in this morning to find that the effect isn't showing up. Played around with the size slider and it seems to randomly appear or not show at all. I can't find any logic to it.

Is there a bug with the lens effects glare code? I'm on Vray 3.00.03

It seems if I set the Glare Effect size to 2.50 it is OK, but changed to 2.52 the effect disappears, and change to 2.54, the effect reappears.

What's this all about then????

Just a cone with a couple of falloffs applied onto a vraylightmtl I think...

I'm afraid this project has been archived. As ever, it was a quick deadline and I didn't have time to send you the scene for testing. If the issue surfaces again I will try and send it.
