VraySpawner2015 keeps starting, shutting down and restarting over and over

I cannot get the spawner to stay open on one of my renderslaves. I keeps closing and reopening over and over again. I have uninstalled and reinstalled 2 times already and have checked
my client license settings. All seems to be in order. Any advice?

Hello,

Is the vrayspawner itself closing or is it the 3ds max instance closing ?
Are you trying to start it as a service or just start the vrayspawner.exe ?
And one last question - do you have the latest service pack for 3ds Max 2015 ?

Its looks like its the Max instance. I have service pack 2 installed and because its a slave, max is an unregistered version on this machine. I open Max itself and it takes forever to open, with an "not responding" message for a long time. Then it eventually opens. I guess the spawner doesnt want to wait that long.

Hello,

There is an issue that Autodesk already know about - if 3ds Max is started from a process running from the user "Local System Account" it closes. As a workaround you should set the VraySpawner service to log in from a specific account (in the service properties - Log On).
