Vrayshadow with vraysoftbox

it seems the vrayshadow channel is messed up when using a vraysoftbox material in a vraylight. I get small points here and there, and no shadow image

Beauty pass renders fine.

Yes. This happens quite a bit. I just gave up on using shadow passes since textures on a light are so important. Attached an image... this is with 256 light subdivs. Slightly messing with adaptive amount helps a bit, but doesn't solve the problem and leads to unreasonable render times. Vray 3.

The issue is considered as a bug and it has been reported into our system.
We will let you know when we have a fix about it.

With that being said, its quite likely the fix will not make it into the SP1 right?

Yes the fix most likely won't be ready for the SP1.
I can bump the priority of the issue if it is urgent but again the fix won't be a part of SP1.
