  • Exclude 3ds Max Fog effects from render elements?

    Hi,

is it possible to exclude 3ds Max native Fog environment effects from affecting render elements. Currently, if i render elements with fog effects enabled, most of my render elements become corrupted (VrayNormals, Velocity, Masks, etc...). So i always have to render beauty first, then disable all ray tracing effects (to speed up second rendering) and atmospheric, and render scene once again with elements only. That is quite PITA workflow.

    Thanks in advance.

Currently it is not possible to remove the contribution of the Fog from the render elements.
The fog however should not have impact on all render elements - VrayNormals, Velocity, MultiMatte, VrayRenderID, VrayObjectID elements shouldn't be affected by the Fog.
If that is not the case please send us a sample scene for investigation and let us know what are the exact version/sp of the V-Ray and 3DSMax.
