canceling batch render

Not sure if this is a V-Ray issue, but I don't remember having a problem until v3.10

It seems when in the middle of a batch render I can't cancel the job. Cancel skips the current render and starts the next. And when I hit ESC the program locks up and crashes.

3dsmax 2012 & Vray 3.10.01

Anyone else able to reproduce? I'll keep testing it.

Hi,

Which frame buffer you are using ? The native 3ds Max or our VFB?
I see that the VFB goes on the top of all windows and the Batch render window is not accessible during the render. We will see if this can be changed some how, but in the meantime pressing the ESC button and clicking on Cancel (should be quick) right after that will stop the batch rendering process. Otherwise the batch will continue with the next job in the queue.

Hope this helps until we find a better way.

Edit: Actually it doesn't matter which FB is used, the issue is still there.

I have the same problem. I don't remember this being present in 3.0, no matter what I cant cancel out of a batch render.

We will fix it. Meanwhile you can stop the batch rendering using "ESC" and then click on the "Cancel", but this should be done very quickly.
