  • Show Adaptive Mask

When progressive rendering, there used to be the "Show Adaptive Mask" option in the progressive image sampler dialog. Is this gone permanently, or was it removed to solve an issue? I noticed that it's still there in the documentation, but can't find any info as to why it is now gone.

    Thanks

    Hello,

Instead of the "Show Adaptive mask" now you can use the VRaySamplerRate render element with the progressive sampler. In it the pixels that are still being sampled are shown with white. The pixels that are done and not being sampled are shown with color proportional to the number of samples taken (red for the ones with the most samples, green for medium and blue for the least).

    Best regards,
