  • Convert GrowFX tree to mesh and render looks different?

I have a tree that uses vray 2-sided material for leaves. It also uses vertex colouring to blend within mix maps.

I just converted to vrayproxy and suddenly the tree looks flat. Does vrayproxy support all of the above?

I had similar issues with trees converted to vrayproxies recently. It just turned off "Force first map channel" for those proxies and everything worked.

Thanks for the replies. On the train heading home but hopefully resolve this in the morning.

So the force first map channel will copy channel zero to 1. I take it that means my UVW co-ordinates for any bitmaps need to be moved to another channel?

This isn't within forest pack btw.

@the edge - I missread your post. So this needs to be unticked. Any ideas whether this could cause any other issues in certain cases?

          Thanks

No as far as I know it only affects the mapping channels. This option is now automatically turned off in the latest build of V-Ray.
