  • At almost every render end , Vray crashes

    Hi,

I dont know whats the relation to anything. I am using the latest nightly build, but had the same problem with a few builds before that too. Recently I am getting this error message after the render is done or already in between (mostly when the last bucket is finished)

That was somehow acceptable when I rendered just one image, since I was still able to retrieve that image - mostly 3DS Max didnt crash, the render did.
But with animations it is terrible. I got the message after 22 frames, then restarted and got the error after the first frame. Sometimes 3DSMAX crashes, sometimes it doesnt.

Find the scene downloadable from my Dropbox please.

    Cheers

    Manuel

PS: The render resolution inside Vray still changes to the default 640x480px when the Default LIghts option is chosen. Very very dangerous! Please fix asap, thanks.

Will try to reproduce this here, but please, for issues with the nightly builds, email me directly to vlado@chaosgroup.com or post to the Google group.

    Best regards,

Can you try with the option "Get resolution from MAX" for the V-Ray VFB *enabled*?

      Best regards,
      Vlado
