  • VRay 3 camera in VRay 2

Has anyone else had a problem viewing through a VRay 3 camera in VRay 2?

In the end the only work around we found was to get the standard camera and attach to a dummy.

Hm, thanks for the pointer - will try to reproduce this here.

    Best regards,

A trick I use a lot for recreating cameras is to look through the problem camera and then press P. This will change the camera into a perspective view to match the problem camera settings. Then create a new cam somewhere and with it selected press Control C, which will move that new camera into your view position and change the settings to match. You still have to deal with fstop and exposure but you get the framing at least. I use this a lot on old scenes that used a max camera and I just can't stand them anymore. Never used it with the tilt so ymmv.

It's fine in my tests, please send me a simple scene reproducing the problem (peter.matanov@chaosgroup.com) - maybe it's a particular option used.
If it was that easy, it would have already been done
