Hi,
I started my current scene with 3ds max 2012 and now I had to change to 3dsmax 2015 cause the viewport response was really bad with 2012. Viewport response is great with 2015 but suddenly my updating instance sequence is taking really long. I have to wait a few mins looking at updating instances even if I render really small test area. This is really killing my production speed. What could cause this?
Just tested that if I take displacement off from global switches the render starts immediately. Why is displacement making me wait that updating instances sequence? I have similar issue with 2012. It's just abit different cause in 2012 I had to wait for the light cache abit cause it was jumping between light cache and displacement. But the wait is quite much longer in 2015.
