vray can't use vector map for displacement?

Hi tried using a .svg file as a displacement map but no matter what i tried i couldn't get it to work.
Is this not supported in vray yet? It works fine a diffuse or any other kind of map so i wonder why it doesn't as a displacement texture?
Saying that I might be doing something totally wrong so please let me know if there's any work-around for this.

This is a known issue and it is already reported into our bug-tracking system.
We'll let you know when we have some updates on that matter.
