  • Render mask - selected - disregards opacity maps

    Hi Chaosguys,

i have an issue with RENDER MASK se to SELECTED
I have plane objects with opacity maps and when i render them as selected they get rendered as planes as if the opacity map was not taken into account.
Is this a bug or known behaviour?

    Thanks for your reply

    Best Regards

That is correct, it's only in the "unstable" nightlies.

            Possibly related...

I have solid objects selected, that's BEHIND a non-selected object that has opacity on it - A plane with billboard trees. My selected object only render where it sticks out above the trees, but not through the opacity of the trees

            Is it related?
            Kind Regards,
            Morne

Yes this should be fixed too - opacity is now part of the mask calculations.
