Guys can you please add an option to stop the background image gamma being multiplied when "srgb" colour space is enabled in the Vfb? All my background images look really washed out, or conversely I disable srgb colours and the render looks terrible.

Can you post your tiff file or send it to me at vlado@chaosgroup.com ? Is it a floating-point tiff?
