density map of Vray Fur ignores "blur offset" of bitmaps

When density or length of Vray Fur is controlled by bitmap the "blur offset" parameter of this bitmap is ignored.
Why? Is this normal?

It's hard-coded in this way, yes. VRayFur does not have enough information to perform any kind of filtering on the texture.
