Default Grey Material

I know i can set the UI to vray which gives me default vray materials in which they are all different colours but is there a very simple way to make them all the same default grey colour?

Ive tried a few different methods having looked online, none of which have worked so far, which may be to do with different versions having recently upgraded to the latest max and vray.

You mean to put grey vraymats in the material editor? I always use a script line:

for n = 1 to 24 do meditmaterials[n] = vraymtl name:(("VRayMtl_"+formattedprint n format:"03d"))
