Hey Guys,
While working on some renders yesterday I noticed a problem with the way shadows are rendered when using a 2 Sided material along with a Blend Material. When im plugging in a VRay 2 Sided Material into a Blend Material (base slot) the opacity / shadows are incorrect. The shadows no longer are respecting the opacity map connected in the chain before the blend material but renders out as the geometry shape is (image attached). This seems to only happen whenever Im using a 2 Sided material into the blend material.
Shader Setup :
VRay Material + Opacity Map plugged into a VRay 2 Sided Material (1 each for Front & Back).
VRay 2 Sided Material is plugged into the VRay Blend Material into the base slot.
Lighting setup is simple, just using a VRay Sun and a Dome light.
Sorry Forgot to add VRay Version : 3.1.03 (also tested with 3.1.02)
I tried the same setup in Maya and it seems to be working correctly.
