  • glass material with 2 different materials either side issues

If I setup a basic glass material and apply it to an object it works fine. If I apply the 2 different vray glass materials to either side the box (the glass panel) where one material has a texture in the glossiness to give a frosted glass look in a particular place, the refraction for the entire panel looks wrong.

It needs to be the same material, however use can use the VRayMultiSubTex texture in conjunction with a VRayColor map to give it different properties on different sides.

Thanks. Could I also separate the opposite face meshes and apply different materials to it ?

It has to be the same material, otherwise V-Ray can't compute the IOR properly. They can be separate meshes though.
