  • OpenExr block Y coordinate

    Hello ChaosGroup
I'm having a problem I've never had before: when I read a Vray-rendered image into Nuke I get this: Unexpected data block y coordinate
I'm not the only one. I don't know if this has something to do with Vray, but the problem apparently occurs with rendering thorugh Deadline and Backburner, and with Vray 2.4 and 3.
Photoshop won't open the file either.
    Please also see this thread:

I can supply the file if you want.

    Regards,
    Thomas

Which Nuke version are you using? The file will be helpful, yes.

    Best regards,
    Vlado

      Hi
It's Nuke 9.0v3, you can load the .exr from here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...sers-above.rar

        Hi Vlado
When I open the image in the MR utility, I only see a 50% filled frame. It should be about 80% (it's a region render)
        How much can you see?

For info: I've now re-rendered the image, but this time not a region render. Problem solved.
I also had slighly higher sampling threshold to speed up the rendering, but I can't see what that would change.

Hmm, I hope it's just one of those things I will not see again, now that it's never been a problem before.
