  • Animate VRay plane light on and off

I would like to turn a light off so I added a visibility layer to the Dope sheet. Key 70 is "1" and Key 71 is "0". The curves assigned are both non-bezier (no modifier handles). Still though, when I render frame 69, or 72 for instance, the light is on in both. What else do I need to do?

    Thanks.

I gave up on the visibility idea and am trying the approach of keying the Multiplier. When I scrub the timeline, I see where the modifier goes from 200 to zero, but if I render a frame where it's on 200, I get nothing.... It worked before I started messing around with keying. So I know that the key for the multiplier works, its just why the light doesn't seem to render.

Light "color" somehow got changed to BLACK!? SMH. Putting back to white and everything's a honky-dory. So in the end animate the Multiplier and you'll be good to go! Scheesh.
