VFB not responding 3.2

Hello,
I notice that the VFB is not responding after cancel when the lens filter are on.
I can take up to 2 minute to be able to used max again (vfb is not responding).

Is there a work around?

Do you mean Lens Effects ? Have you used the Material and Object IDs properties?

Sorry Lens effect indeed.
Intensity was turn On.
No object ID or Mat ID was turn On.

When lens effect is of, the VFB is behaving normally.

I found a lag like that due to autosave being active for the VFB history.

that's another story. The history works only when it want on 3.2.
As soon as I got the time to report it with a scene I will do it as well.

Are you able to reproduce the crash each time you render? Would it be possible to send us your scene file ?

any basic scene (3 teapot) with an output size to 2000x2000px and lens effects turn ON (interactive), with intensity turn ON or OFF, will react very slowly or freeze max sometime. The "latency" will even increase if you try to close rendering progress windows after pushing stop to the VFB.

VFB history will get lost as well. Some history will disappear (set to 25, only 2 remaining after hitting cancel).

What 3DSMax version/service is that?
V-Ray version is 3.20.01 or 3.20.02?

Would it be possible to send us a sample scene even if it is a very simple one? We did a couple of tests here but without any success to reproduce the issue.

What are the VFB Render History Settings?

max2014/vray3.20.01
Maximum size on disk: 25Mb (but same happens with 10000)
Image size : 640*480
No render element to keep the file size small.

Yes, scaling to 125%. But this setup is the same since version 2.4.

I don't think that the scaling might cause the issue since I am also using 115% font scaling without any issues but would it be possible to switch back to 100%, restart the machine and run another test.
Does this issue appear with the latest 3.20.02?
