A few days ago, two of four renderslaves running 3dsmax Design 2014 and vray 31002 stopped working. After some digging around I found an error in the windows event log, telling me that vray.exe could not be started because QtCore4.dll is missing. I'm a bit puzzled because nothing has been changed/installed on the machines. I searched the discs on a machine that works ok and the crippled ones and several versions of QtCore4.dll turned up, but none that was sitting in the chaosgroup or vray folders.
A simple reinstall of vray did not solve the problem. Any suggestions?
